Letter to the Editor: Thanksgiving Meal

Dear Editor,

My, what a beautiful way to celebrate a Thanksgiving Holiday – and what an inspiring New Tradition that the Richard Mitchel Family gave to our great community, namely, the free Thanksgiving Day Dinner in the Kay Room.

It was one of the nicest events we have witnessed in Blackwell. All the volunteers should be thanked over and over again.

We are already hearing how we could help continue this kind of community event in years to come. I’m sure I can speak for all those who enjoyed a luscious meal.
