Joyce Oleta Chipchase

Joyce Oleta Chipchase, 82 of Blackwell passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. Joyce was born July 3, 1937 in Bartlesville, Ok. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She was kindhearted and loving to all.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Austin and Velma Bennett of Bartlesville, siblings Nadine Cline, Earl Bennett and Carlene Williamson of Yuba City, California and daughter Becky Tyler Juarez of Blackwell.
The fourth child of seven, Joyce grew up in Oklahoma and later moved to California. She had many occupations, including a telephone operator. She eventually stayed at home and had an in-home day care for many years. She loved children and taking care of her family, friends and loved ones.
Joyce is survived by her husband Steven Blake Chipchase of the home, sons Terry Tyler of Blackwell, Larry Tyler of California, Timmy Tyler of Joplin Missouri, Daniel Chipchase of California, step-daughters Kerry Giglio of California and Julie Davis of California and daughter Stephanie Joyce Walton of Blackwell.
She was a loving mother of six children, two step-children, a grandmother of 23 grandchildren and a great-grandmother of 17. She was loved and will be missed.
A celebration of life will be taking place at the Blackwell Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
