Board of Education hires two new teachers

The Blackwell Board of Education held a short, routing meeting Thursday night. Board members voted to approve the district's budget for the 2019 – 2020 fiscal year.

To start off the meeting, board members approved the consent agenda, which includes payroll encumbrances for district employees.

After approving the consent agenda, the board voted to allow Blackwell Middle School to open a new fundraiser account that will pay for students to attend various school activities.

The board also voted to hire two new teachers at Blackwell Elementary School and a new English teacher at BMS.
