Looking Back – Thinking Forward

Folks, here’s something to think about:

Down through the days, weeks, months and years, some of our friends have said they have lost hope in their life. How sad!

There is an indescribable gift that each one of us have been given and that is the word “Hope” that gives life. Read on:

I have been told during and after my cherished time with the Blackwell Journal-Tribune that there are a lot of negative people in our communities. This may be partially true, but we don’t have to be among this group. We have a lot of problems that arise from time to time, that’s true, but we aren’t the only town that has them. There will be “ups and downs” in every generation. But think about it, we as a people have survived many wars, recessions, and economic downturns.

And how have many of us survived? Much of the past successes were brought about the good ole true grit men and women. Many of these golden agers clothed themselves with tender hearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience – not to mention, a lot of blood, sweat and tears! Unity was evident!

(see Colossians 3:12)

Special thanks to two coffee groups who met this past Wednesday with serious concerns about the future of Blackwell.

We know that with the valuable help of our beloved B.J.T., and many sincere people from all walks of life, that Blackwell will remain one of the best places to live, to raise a family and to retire in.

Why don’t you be one of the first 100 positive power persons to speak up for our great little city. Write a letter to the editor!!

Your faith and your hope can make a big impact on all our future success.

Thank you to all you positive business people!
