Obituary: Randy Lee Bowling

Randy Lee Bowling of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away July 15, 2019, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 59 years.

Randy Lee Bowling was born on May 29, 1960, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Ray and Peggy (Hawkins) Bowling. As a young boy he moved with his family to Blackwell where he attended Blackwell Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1977. Following his education he entered the Oklahoma National Guard and served for nine years. He worked in the oilfields for Hall Well Service and King’s Well Service in Blackwell. He also drove a truck hauling grain across the country. He later worked for Max Hawkins with his farming operation. He attended the First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Randi and Raynell; four sons, Brandon, Jeremy, Darius and Ransom; a sister, Deanna Senseman; and two brothers, Monte and Terry Anderson; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, J. R. Anderson; and a sister, Connie Pappan.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 19th in the Blackwell Cemetery with James W. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in his honor with the Muscular Dystrophy Association in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
