Looking Back – Thinking Forward

Many decisions should be made as to who can get a job done, be it civic, commercial, church, or other venues. Sometimes our expectations are a bit much considering what our leaders have to work with.

Blackwell is not a big city, but we do have a lot of good, hard working citizens. Most people have a good heart and good intentions.

I think our teachers give the highest standard of service. We need to thank them for their efforts.

Perhaps we need to reevaluate the really good things we have in Blackwell, and at the same time encourage improvement where needed.

We would still like to see a rigorous campaign of Blackwell boosters to step forward with some good solid ideas to make Blackwell great again! We have the main and most valuable ingredient, it’s people!

Our main reason for writing these columns is to emphasize the need for unity. Every family needs it, every successful church has to have it, and every town or city will be successful if they have it.

Valuable lessons can be learned from past mistakes. Let’s put them to work for the betterment of our families and future generations.
