Reese replaces Riggs as Blackwell Superintendent

The Blackwell Board of Education met Monday night for a special meeting, where it was determined that Rod Reese would be named the district’s interim superintendent.

The meeting began at 6 p.m. Board members immediately convened into executive session and remained there until around 7 p.m.

Reese officially started yesterday, August 20. He formerly served as superintendent for Tonkawa Public Schools. 

Rick Riggs formerly served as the Blackwell superintendent.
