Patricia Lou Richardson

Patricia Lou Richardson, 93, passed away, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma.

She was born on October 12, 1926 in Blackwell, Ok. to Paul B. and Ruth E. (Haslam) Randall.

She grew up in Blackwell and maintained a lifetime friendship with many of her childhood friends. After high school she attended nurses training at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. She was joined in marriage on April 18, 1945 to Kenneth A. Richardson. They raised two children who were 20 years apart in age.

Making a home for her family was her greatest joy in life. In addition, she had many interests and hobbies, which were, reading, gardening, camping, traveling the U.S., Canada & Mexico and cruises, taking 2 to Hawaii and 1 to Alaska.

She also, had a great love of dogs. A donation account will be set up in her name at the Tulsa SPCA.

Patricia is survived by her son Bruce Richardson and wife Martha of Tucson, daughter Randa Smaligo & husband Norman of Pryor, grandsons Norman Smaligo & wife Diana of Tulsa, & Scott Smaligo of Tulsa. Two great grandsons Tyler Smaligo and Rylan Smaligo both of Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth A. Richardson, infant son Kirk Allen Richardson, father, Paul B. Randall, mother, Ruth E. (Haslam) Randall and brother Kent Randall.

Due to the current concerns about the COVID19 virus, a Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later time. Her Son Bruce and Daughter Randa are looking forward to seeing friends and family at that time.
