Helen Sue Dunaway Smith

December 24, 1939 - July 20, 2021 Sue grew up in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She attended elementary school at Nardin and graduated from Blackwell High School with the class of 1958. Sue married Arthur Dick and they had a daughter, Cynthia Lynette. After a move to Grapevine, Texas , Sue was preceded in death by her husband Art. In spite of her grief, she never stopped living her life to the fullest. Sue married Billy Ray Smith on November 3, 1981. Opportunity brought them to Justin, Texas where they built a home full of love and Dachshunds. Together they enjoyed going to the races, playing Bingo, boating and traveling. Sue worked to make everyone in their blended family feel special and they returned her abundant love. Sue is survived by her husband Billy Ray Smith, daughter Cindy Adams, son Michael Peacock and his wife Laurie, five grandsons, great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and a large extended family. A memorial service was held August 21, 2021 at First Grapevine Methodist Church.
