Looking Back- Thinking Forward: Weekly advice from Dayle

by Dayle McGaha

OPENING STATEMENT “PUBLIC PROBLEMS”:

As we all know, our area and out country has come through one of the most worrisome times in our lifetime! COVID-19 (and all it’s names) was bad for almost every segment of our society.

Many people were affected either socially or financially. Our business and schools were trouble too.

Ask any minister about our beloved churches. We are hoping that 2022 will bring some answers to many of these problems. We must listen to our good miracle leaders and practice safety measures.

Let us also continue to be faithful, friendly people who care about others in need. Special thanks to the ones who recently helped a homeless friend in need of shelter. Let’s continue to “pay it forward!”

PROVERBS 27-10: “Do not forsake your own friend, or your father’s friend.”

DAYLE-VERB: With all the concerns of recent national problems, there must be a lesson in there some place!”

PRESIDENTIAL POINT: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” (John Quincy Adams)

NOTABLE QUOTE: “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain!”

WISE WORDS: “What is to give light must endure burning.” (Vicktor Frank)

SILLY SAYING: Never eat more than you can lift!

WISDOM WOES: “I wish I would lose weight as easy as I lose my keys, pen, cell phone, my temper, and even my mind!”

FUNNY FACT: It is hard to lost weight when you have an overactive knife and fork!

BOOSTING BLACKWELL yet? You bet! We think it is great to see still another business opening this past week. The new pizza place across from Walmart! This makes three new stores within the last month! Blackwell is a great place to live and raise a family. Come on folks, let’s boost our fair city even more!

P.S. Continue to check on the elderly, live-alones, or ones who need a lift!
