Blackwell VFW hosts country music show Friday

The Blackwell Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2855 is shaping up to be one rockin’ spot Friday as Bryan Knowles will perform live starting at 9 p.m.

The VFW is located at 1006 W. Ferguson Ave.

In late 2021, VFW Commander Cory Ingram said the iconic bar would be looking to host more music and events going into 2022. In the past few months, Levi Walker has performed twice, including during the Top of OK Jam’s Chili Classic cook-off.

Country artist Knowles has roughly 3,800 followers on Facebook. He also has music videos on YouTube, including “Only Time Will Tell,” a country ballad that has amassed 7,200 views.

Knowles often plays in bars and venues across Oklahoma, Kansas and Montana. He will head to Enid for a concert on Saturday.

Entry is free at the VFW, and beer bucket deals will be offered through the night.
