Foy Claudine Howerton

Foy Claudine Howerton, 85, passed away peacefully on December 29,2021. Foy grew up on the Hiatt Dairy Farm just south of Braman and graduated from Braman High School in 1954. She met her husband, Richard, on a blind date and they spent the next 63 adventurous years together.

Foy was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nonny and Friend to many. She loved life, always living each day to the fullest & treasured each moment she spent with those she loved.

She leaves behind 2 daughters, Debbie(Joe)Freisberg, Elgin, Ks; Sherry(Bruce)Sternad, Tulsa, Ok, and son, Rick(Marty)Howerton, Fort Worth, Tx;  Grandchildren Brandon(Sondra)Grell, Kaysen and Kanon, Skiatook, Ok; Dustin Grell, Hayden and Kipton, Braman, Ok; Clinton(Kelli)Grell, Harper, Andover, Ks; Natalie Norman, Brady; Tulsa, Ok; Storm(Virginia)Sternad, Denver, Colo; and Heather(Daxton)Powell, Charlotte and Daxton, Edmond, Ok.  A brother Claud(Madelyn)Hiatt, Braman, Ok., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she dearly loved. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents Cecil and Bernice Hiatt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 at the Braman Methodist Church.
