Macioge gives back to Blackwell High

Taylor Macioge is blessed with a servant's heart, said Blackwell High School Life Skills teacher Colleen Blevins. And without him, her class just wouldn’t be the same.
Macioge graduated from Blackwell High in 2014 and came back to his alma mater in 2019 to be a volunteer for Blevins’ class. He’s been there ever since to help Blevins with her special needs students, she said.
“He is an outstanding worker,” Blevins said. “He is self-directed and shares his love with everyone he comes into contact with. He also helps in the cafeteria and the school’s janitorial services. He never asks for anything in return. He does everything with a smile on his face, and he’s always eager to learn. He just has such a great attitude.”
Macioge is blessed with a servant’s heart and is the “epitome of a Christian man,” Blevins said
“He is a kind, caring, Christian man who can be heard on a daily basis singing his favorite worship songs and sharing his singing and joy with his classmates,” she said. “Our class is blessed by this young man, and it is our hope we can honor his name in the community and make him known to everyone far and wide.”
Macioge was all smiles on a recent day in Blevins’ class, and he helped her students with their afternoon work and duties.
