Gene B. Neuman Jr.
Surrounded by his daughters, Gene B. Neuman Jr., went to join his wife in Heaven on February 20, 2023, at the age of 64.
Gene graduated from Anahuac High School in S.E. Texas, later joining the Army in Baytown, TX. He served in Desert Storm and got to see many parts of the world. He finished up his military career as a drill sergeant in the army reserves in Ponca City.
Gene had a passion for work. He loved what he did, and he was good at it. But, he also had a passion for family and was constantly torn on being on the road providing for his girls or missing being home for dinner every night.
Gene loved life. He loved fishing, family time at the lake, roundhouse denim overalls, golfing, and Red Seal wintergreen long-cut.
Gene is survived by his daughters Tyffani Newman and husband Mike, Shyler Neuman, Mackenzie Short and husband Stephen. He is also survived by his siblings Kit Neuman and wife Mitzi and Karen Anderson, and sister-in-law Kitty Hofman and husband Brad. Grandkids Madden Newman, Emalee Newman, Marc Nichols, Derbi Anderson, Emma and Reid Short as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his wife Tammy, parents Gene and Pearl and his grandparents.
His service will be held on March 23rd at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Blackwell, OK.
