Daughters of the American Revolution to meet at Blackwell Museum

The Ponca City Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a come-and-go Membership Information event on Saturday April 15, 2023, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Top of Oklahoma Historical Museum in Blackwell, OK.

The Daughters of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization dedicated to preserving American history, securing America’s future through better education for children, and promoting patriotism.

Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. Ponca City DAR members will be available at the event to answer questions about how to become a member, and to provide information about the Society’s history and community service work.
