Area Halloween plans- Arthur's, VFW, Trunk or Treat, and more.

Halloween is next Tuesday, October 31, and there is no shortage of events happening in Blackwell leading up to the City of Blackwell’s officially declared “Trick or Treat” night that Tuesday.

For the weekend, Blackwell’s newest bar and restaurant, Arthur’s will be holding their first-ever Halloween party for adults 21+ on Saturday, October 28 from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. There will be prizes awarded for best individual and best duo costume.

The Blackwell Veterans of Foreign Wars will also be hosting a Halloween party this weekend as well on Saturday, October 28, with costume contests and other activities from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Judging for costumes will be held at 11 p.m.

For children, the Nardin Methodist Church at 108 West Main Street will be hosting their Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, October 31, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with games, hotdogs, chips, and candy. Costumes will be optional.

In Blackwell, the Blackwell Public Library and Top of Oklahoma Museum will be hosting a joined Trunk or Treat on Tuesday night, October 31, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Museum’s parking lot.

Candy donations are being accepted until October 27 at the library.

The Bethesda Church’s Trunk or Treat will be held October 31 from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. located at 115 west Oklahoma Avenue.
