Blackwell Library to host Summer Reading party Friday: free hotdogs, bounce house, and more

The Blackwell Public Library is kicking off their jam-packed 2024 Summer Season this Friday with the Summer Reading Kickoff Event scheduled for May 24 from 2 pm - 4 pm which will offer two bounce-houses, hotdogs, chips, and drinks absolutely free while encouraging sign-ups for the Summer Reading Program.

Those who sign up for the Children’s Summer Reading Program will get to experience crafts, STEM activities, challenges, special guest activities, and more from June 4- July 18 along with games and prizes for various reading challenges.

The Teens and Adults Summer Reading Program will run June 3 - July 19 and feature a “Book Bingo” challenge with 4 different prize baskets that participants can win. Crafts for the Teens and Adults Program including painting, scavenger hunts, and more.
