Blackwell Flycatchers Host 4th of July Parking Lot Party Full of Fun, Food, and Family Activities
The Blackwell Flycatchers are inviting the community to celebrate Independence Day with a bang at their 1st Annual 4th of July Parking Lot Party, happening just north of Morgan Field in Blackwell. The event is set for Thursday, July 4th, and will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a full schedule of fun for all ages.
Attendees can grab a Flycatchers $5 Burger Basket, which includes a burger, chips, and water, while enjoying live music by The Imitators. Several food trucks, including Bagpipe Bites and the Snowie Bus, will also be on hand serving up local favorites.
The celebration will feature a wide variety of family-friendly games and activities, including face painting, tattoos, cornhole, a dunk tank, and the ever-popular turtle races at 12:30 p.m. Kids can enjoy games, while adults can visit vendor booths and enter to win prizes in multiple raffles and giveaways.
This year’s raffles include a chance to win a firework bundle and a custom set of Flycatcher cornhole boards. Everyone who attends will be entered into a ticket giveaway for a chance to win four Flycatchers game tickets.
A special highlight of the event will be the opportunity to meet and greet with the Flycatchers players, who will also take part in fun contests like the “Cutest Player Contest” and the playful “Pie a Flycatcher” fundraiser.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the afternoon of festivities. All proceeds from vendor booths, raffles, and the dunk booth will go directly to support the players of the Blackwell Flycatchers.
Whether you’re a longtime Flycatchers fan or just looking for a fun way to spend the holiday, this 4th of July celebration promises to be a home run for the entire family.
A healthy Kay County requires great community news.
