Blackwell High School Seeking Guitar Donations to Support Music Students

Blackwell High School is calling on the community to help support its music program by donating unused guitars and bass guitars.

The school is seeking instruments that may be collecting dust in closets or garages, with the goal of putting them into the hands of students eager to learn.

“We would love to give these instruments new life in the hands of our students,” said music teacher Mrs. Debrugge. “Your donation could inspire the next great musician right here at Blackwell High School.”

Donations can be dropped off at the BHS office. For more information, residents may contact Mrs. DeBrugge at mdebrugge@blackwell.k12.ok.us.

School officials say that each donated instrument will make a difference by expanding opportunities for students to explore music and develop their talents.

“Thank you for supporting music in our community,” Mrs. DeBrugge added.
