Lucas Lanes to Host 1st Annual Ron Keith Memorial Baker’s Doubles Tournament

Blackwell bowlers will have a chance to honor a local favorite and enjoy some friendly competition at the 1st Annual Ron Keith Memorial Baker’s Doubles Tournament on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Lucas Lanes.

Check-in will begin at 10 a.m., with bowling starting at 11 a.m. The entry fee is $100 per team, which covers six games played across 12 lanes. The doubles team cap is set at 440, with a handicap of 90% of 220.

Bowlers will use last year’s highest Bowl.com average. If no average from last year is available, averages from the 2023–2024 season or a current highest league average with at least 21 games will be accepted. Participants must bring a current league standing sheet or be able to verify their average online through League Secretary. Those without the required averages will enter at scratch or 220.

The entry fee breakdown includes $70 for the prize fund, $15 for lineage, and $15 for high game scratch. Handicap will be determined by dividing the doubles team average by two and subtracting it from 220, with 90% of that difference applied per game.
