October at the Blackwell Public Library: Stories, Crafts, and Halloween Fun

The Blackwell Public Library has a full month of family-friendly activities planned this October, offering everything from crafts and story times to spooky seasonal fun for all ages.
Weekly favorites return, starting with Toddler Story Time every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. on October 1, 15, and 29. Young readers can also enjoy Toddler Craft Time on October 8 and 22, with themed activities designed to inspire creativity and imagination.
The library’s popular Lego Club meets every Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., where builders of all ages can test their creativity and engineering skills.
For something extra special, the library will host a Homecoming Craft on Wednesday, October 1, just ahead of the big game weekend. Then, on Friday, October 17 at 11:00 a.m., little ones can join a memorable Story Time with Firefighters, featuring a visit from local heroes and their fire truck.
Movie lovers are invited to Movie Day on Monday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m., featuring a screening of Hotel Transylvania — a perfect pick for the Halloween season.
The excitement continues toward the end of the month with Boo Bash on Blackwell on Tuesday, October 28, where the library will take part in downtown festivities.
October wraps up with festive spirit on Friday, October 31, as the library wishes everyone a safe and spooky Happy Halloween!
