Poncan Theatre to screen "Rocky Horror" Saturday
October 23, 2025

The historic Poncan Theatre is hosting a screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, a fright night crowd-pleaser best enjoyed with a rowdy audience.
The Poncan, located at 104 E. Grand in Ponca City, will be showing the 1975 musical this weekend, Saturday October 25, with doors opening at 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $15 online or at the door, and includes a prop bag. Concessions & Bar will be available. The screening is hosted by the Ponca City Arts & Humanities Council.
A big-screen favorite, the 70’s horror-comedy musical stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, and Peter Hinwood.
Seen as a “midnight movie” classic and preserved on the United States National Film Registry, the movie’s public screenings halted after Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox in the late 2010’s until rights and distribution could be handled.
