Free Holiday Movies Coming to The HUB in Tonkawa
Kay County area families will have plenty to enjoy this holiday season as The HUB prepares to host more than a week of free movie showings beginning December 22 and running through January 2. The community event offers a festive lineup of family favorites, Christmas classics, and animated hits — all at no cost to attendees.
Each movie will begin at 10:30 a.m., and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The series kicks off on Monday, Dec. 22 with Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, followed by Elf on Tuesday and Polar Express on Wednesday. Christmas Day brings a timeless holiday tradition with It’s a Wonderful Life, and the week wraps up on Friday, Dec. 26 with Wonka.
After the holiday weekend, the lineup continues with family-friendly favorites including Despicable Me on Monday, Dec. 29; Minecraft on Tuesday, Dec. 30; and the boxing classic Rocky on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The New Year begins with Wild Robot on Thursday, Jan. 1, and the series concludes Friday, Jan. 2 with Kung Fu Panda.
The HUB’s free movie series has become a popular holiday attraction, offering local families a chance to enjoy seasonal entertainment together without the cost of a theater ticket.
