Chamber Christmas store a massive success for 2025
December 17, 2025
The Blackwell Chamber of Commerce held their annual Children’s Christmas Store this past Saturday, with help from Blackwell FFA students, to help give children in the Kay County area a chance to “shop” for their loved ones in a safe and fun environment.
The store, an honored and loved tradition in Blackwell dating back to its days at the Blackwell Youth Center, was held in a festive Event Center at the Fairgrounds.
“The holiday season finds us helping others- members fulfilled an angel tree request, and helped young children shop with the Chamber of Commerce” the Blackwell FFA’s official Facebook account posted over the weekend.
The turnout this year was high, according to Chamber members, who thanked local volunteers for helping out through the morning.
“What a blessing this is to our community! I can not thank you all enough for all your hard work that is put into this store. You truly bless many of the youth in this community,” Youth Center Director Denise Hindman said on the Chamber’s posting about the store.
Those who want to assist for the 2026 Christmas Store need only to contact the Blackwell Chamber at (580) 363-4195
