VFW Auxiliary Delivers Christmas Gifts to Local Veterans

Members of the Blackwell VFW Auxiliary spread holiday cheer this week by delivering Christmas gifts to veterans residing at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Each veteran received an American flag throw as a token of appreciation and remembrance for their service to the country.

“They are and always will be our Veterans,” said Sherry Landers, president of the Blackwell VFW Auxiliary. “Thank you for your service.”

The visit reflects the Auxiliary’s continued commitment to honoring and supporting local veterans, especially during the holiday season
