Totty named manager of Blackwell Flycatchers
January 23, 2026
The Blackwell Flycatchers have announced the hiring of Garrett Totty as the team’s new manager ahead of the 2026 season.
Totty brings five years of managerial experience in the Pecos League, where he has served as a manager with teams in Roswell and Garden City. His tenure in the league includes a solid managing record and a reputation for developing players and building competitive teams.
The appointment marks a homecoming for Totty, an Oklahoma native from Henryetta. His connection to professional baseball began at a young age when he served as a bat boy for the Tulsa Drillers. Totty went on to play baseball at Moore High School before continuing his career at Labette Community College and Bacone College.
The Flycatchers will open their 2026 season at home on May 27, when they host the Trinidad Triggers.
A healthy Kay County requires great community news.
