Blackwell Public Library Features February Displays Highlighting History, Romance

February 05, 2026

The Blackwell Public Library has unveiled its February displays, offering patrons a wide range of books and movies that celebrate Black History Month, Valentine’s Day and the joy of discovery.
In recognition of Black History Month, the library is featuring both fiction and nonfiction titles for readers of all ages. The collection highlights the lives and contributions of Black leaders and artists, along with powerful stories, inspiring journeys and memorable characters from history and literature.
February’s displays also include a romance-themed selection in honor of Valentine’s Day. The “Fall in Love Again & Again” display showcases romance novels representing a variety of lifestyles and age groups, offering something for every reader looking for a heartfelt story.
In addition, the library has refreshed its nonfiction displays with newly featured biographies and lesser-known titles that staff say deserve extra attention.
All books and movies included in the February displays are available for checkout. Library patrons are encouraged to stop by, browse the displays and take home items to enjoy throughout the month.
