Jennifer Sue Lambert was born May 14, 1969, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Steve and Virginia Lambert. She came home to six older siblings, with a 12 year spread between her and the youngest.
Jennifer grew up in the same house for all her childhood, attending Blackwell High School, graduating in 1987. She went to work full time at McDonalds, where she soon met her future husband, Vance Nash.
Jennifer and Vance got married April 7, 1991, in Blackwell, after he completed Navel basic training. They soon moved to Norfolk, VA, where Vance was stationed. Jennifer gave birth to their sons, Aaron (1993), and Christopher (1994). They eventually moved to Charlotte, NC, where they settled and made their life. Jennifer worked in the EMS department of Siemens Corporation for many years, eventually taking a job in the IT department of the Bank of America corporate offices in Charlotte, where she stayed until her illness.
Jennifer Nash passed away in the early morning hours of March, 20, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Vance Nash, and two sons, Aaron Nash of Wisconsin, and Christopher Nash of Charlotte, NC.; six siblings: Terri Garoutte (Glen) of Dewey, OK, Cheri Roquemore of Ponca City, OK, Janyce Leighton (Bill) of Lubbock, TX, Stephanie Lambert (David Davis) of Wichita, KS, Judy Johnson (Gary) of Wichita, and Steve Lambert (Robin) of Maryville, TN, as well as two aunts on her mother’s side, Ruth Love of Stillwater. OK, and Linda Te of Camarillo, CA. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who loved her and were touched by her life.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Steve (May 2008) and Virginia (October 2008) Lambert of Blackwell.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Blackwell, OK.
