WORLD HARVEST Church, Beautiful Restoration to Host “Rededicate 250” Community Event

May 13, 2026

WORLD HARVEST Church and Beautiful Restoration will host a special community gathering Sunday, May 17, as part of the nationwide “Rededicate 250” event celebrating America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The local event will feature a livestream broadcast from the National Mall in Washington, D.C., where churches, ministries and faith leaders from across the country will gather for a day centered on prayer, worship and thanksgiving.
The Blackwell gathering will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 105 W. Blackwell, located at the corner of Main Street and Blackwell Avenue. Organizers say the event is open to the public and families are encouraged to attend.
According to organizers, “Rededicate 250” is intended to encourage Americans to reflect on the nation’s history, celebrate God’s faithfulness and pray for the country’s future as the United States approaches its 250th year.
The national event will include worship music, testimonies, speeches and storytelling and will focus on three themes:

  •  “The Miracles that Made Us”
  •  “The Miracles Still in Our Midst”
  •  “A New Birth of Faith and Freedom”
Locally, WORLD HARVEST Church and Beautiful Restoration say they hope the event will bring the community together for a day of faith, prayer and unity while connecting Blackwell residents to the larger national observance.
A free community meal featuring hot dogs will be served beginning at 12:30 p.m. while supplies last.
“All are welcome,” organizers said in promotional materials for the event. “Bring your family and friends.”
The gathering is one of many taking place nationwide as communities participate in the “Rededicate 250” observance ahead of America’s semiquincentennial celebration in 2026.
