Blackwell Tourism to Host Fundraiser for Flycatchers Baseball Team

Baseball fans will have an opportunity to support the Blackwell Flycatchers while enjoying dinner at a special fundraiser this Friday, June 19. 

Blackwell Tourism will host a Flycatchers Baseball Fundraiser on June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Field, located at 800 S. Main St.

According to organizers, proceeds from food sales during the event will benefit the Flycatchers players and help support the team throughout the season.

The fundraiser menu will feature loaded baked potatoes and other ballpark favorites. Guests can choose from an All-American loaded baked potato topped with butter, ham, cheese, onions and sour cream, or a Chicken Bacon Ranch loaded baked potato featuring smoked chicken, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing. Both options will be available for $10.

Additional menu items include walking tacos for $5, soft drinks for $2, bottled water for $1 and Hugs juice drinks for 50 cents.

As an added incentive, attendees who spend more than $20 will receive a free game ticket while supplies last.

Organizers are encouraging community members to come out, enjoy a meal and show their support for Blackwell’s hometown baseball team.

The event is scheduled to take place at Morgan Field from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 19.
