Stride Bank opens on Doolin Sept 10

Stride Bank is pleased to announce the relocation of the Blackwell branch to its new address at 722 W. Doolin Ave. on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

The new branch will continue to offer Stride Bank’s full range of personal, business, agricultural and commercial banking services. “We are grateful for the patience and support of our customers and community throughout the construction process,” said Emily Fruits, Market Manager. “Blackwell is home to us, and we are proud to invest in its future.”

After several years in its Main Street building, the signals were clear to expand to a new location. Construction and development of a new site on Doolin Avenue meant that Stride could implement design details geared toward improving customer experience. While the address may be new, customers will continue to see the same familiar faces and receive the recognizable hometown service from the Blackwell team.

Scouting for a new facility also meant ushering in a transition for the older property. Stride is donating its Main Street building to the City of Blackwell. This transfer of ownership is part of Stride’s ongoing efforts to be a solid community partner while still driving forward to meet the growing needs of its customers.

The new location will officially open on September 10 at 722 W. Doolin Ave. An open house will be scheduled at a later date to welcome customers and invite community members to the new space.
