Larry Eugene Shoemaker

Larry Eugene Shoemaker died Feb. 24th, 2021 at the Villagio assisted living home in Oklahoma City. Larry was born in Blackwell, OK on October 19, 1939 to Orville and Gladys Shoemaker. Larry graduated from Blackwell High School in May of 1957. Larry excelled in all sports, especially baseball. Larry played football at N.O.C. and he also attended Colorado State.
In 1980 he married Doris Coleman and they moved to St. Louis Missouri where he worked at Chrysler Corporation until his retirement in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, brothers Homer Shoemaker, Joe Max Shoemaker, Richard Shoemaker, sisters Shirley, Wava Trompler, Patsy Klein and Judy Berry.

Larry is survived by a brother, O.U. Shoemaker of Edmond and a sister Becky Hall of Nardin, Oklahoma and many nephews and nieces.
